Deployment is… a whole mess of emotions that I don’t even have a word for. It was like going through puberty, it was like I was dating a ghost, the beginning, middle and end all had totally different vibes to them.
His First Mate is created and edited by yours truly. All of my posts, thoughts and ideas in my posts are created by me and my writing is always my own. Whenever it is not, the original source of the information will be clearly stated with a link attached.
His First Mate does accept compensation in all forms. However, I hold to a high standard of honesty. When any compensation has been given in regards to a post it will be clearly labeled at the bottom what has been done and how it influenced the writing. Even when I have been compensated to write a post or review a product, my authentic opinion will always be given. Always. No content with a conflict of interest will be posted.
If at any time you wish to borrow anything original to His First Mate (photos, posts, ideas, quotes, etc.) I ask that you contact me prior at firstname.lastname@example.org and also site my blog when using. I am all about sharing and would be honored for my work to be spread, however, I am also all about giving credit where it is due.
If I find that you have taken my content without written permission from me, I will unfollow and block you and/or your brand from all my accounts including social media.
It has come to my attention that some have been copying some of my own content and pasting it into their own posts. Please DO NOT do this. Everything I have created takes a lot of time and my own effort. If you would like to use something of mine (photos, content, disclaimers, graphics, etc.) you can simply just ask and I will most likely be 100% okay with it.
I love all of my followers and I literally read all of the stuff you post and share but I also take my own writing and my blog very seriously. If I continue to see this happening I will have to block you and that is by far the absolute last thing I want to do.
So, please, please, please be mindful of what you are borrowing.
