I was wandering through the isles of Walmart today when I spotted this Walmart employee with a cart. There was nothing special or unusual about this kid. What I was mostly interested in was what was on his cart. Cartons upon cartons of fall teas were stacked up on his cart: Pumpkin Spice, Salted Caramel among other spicy chai flavors.
So I stalked this kid like a cheetah stalks a gazelle for lunch. I followed him from the back room where he came out with the cart all the way up to the front of the store where the teas usually are kept. And as soon as he stopped I pounced and politely snatched a few off his cart before he even got a chance to clear a space on the shelf.
I am definitely a fall person. I love pumpkin spice and salted caramel everything and I have absolutely no shame in admitting it. I love the chilly weather, horror movies, wearing hoodies and boots and my birthday is also in October. And this year’s fall is bound to be amazing because I just booked my flights to go see Taylor the day after my birthday.
I have yet to see Charleston in the fall and knowing how much I love it during the winter and summer I know I will fall even more in love with it during the autumn months.
I already informed Taylor that one night we are going to order a pizza and rent a bunch of horror movies to watch one night. There is also this pumpkin patch right by Folly Beach called Legare Farms that I am DYING to go to. You can feed turtles, pick pumpkins, corn mazes, hayrides, horse rides and a factory where you can make your own scarecrow.
So I am very excited about this upcoming trip to say the very least. I am currently sipping on my pumpkin spice tea as I type this, happy as can be and googling other Halloween activities that Charleston has to offer.
Happy beginning of fall everyone!
