The Kind Of Christmas I Was Dreaming Of…

I always hear that the military likes to change their minds. Schedules are constantly changing and nothing is set in stone. I got some first-hand experience with this recently.

I learned before Thanksgiving that Taylor wasn’t going to be able to come home for Christmas and it impacted me a lot more than I thought it would. However, I was thankful that he got to come home for Thanksgiving and we took pictures in front of his family’s Christmas tree and tried to make the best of what we were going to miss out on for our first Christmas.

Then a couple weeks ago, the Navy decided that even though T didn’t have enough leave days they would still let him come home anyway.  I can not even being to explain how happy and excited I am that we get to spend our first Christmas together in the same house. I truly feel blessed.

Merry Christmas to all my followers and remember those who aren’t able to be home with their families for Christmas.
